Stop the Stunts

Another group of whiners that probably ride Harleys, have diesel trucks, mow their lawn, have screaming kids, and yet somehow think that an airplane is louder than all their crap.

I forwarded this on to AOPA in hopes that they will try and educate those around the airport.
If you look through the "summarized reports" you will find one that has a picture taken of a "low flying" plane. If they hadn't drawn a circle around the aircraft in the photo, you wouldn't even be able to see it.
The uneducated general public drives me crazy.
"It is our mission to restore peace and quiet to our lands and skies by empowering property owners and by restoring local control over the non-essential, recreational uses of the airspace which is part of our lands."

rediculous. It is my mission to have all cars that are driving to an activity viewed as pleasureable to be removed from the roads. man these groups piss me off!

-end venting

jeez, what a bunch of cry babies.

those summary reports are quite hilarious, sad, but hilarious. do they expect people to take them seriously with those type of arguements? aerobatics between 3 and 5 in the afternoon, arguably below 1500agl, appearing to do blah blah blah. what's that business about someone driving a front-end loader with mower attachment around the airport? i guess they can't keep the grass short either.

i feel sorry for mr. tidball, he should probably check under his car for explosives.

it's good to see that they have recieved (3) new "fan mails" today. i think i'll add one too....

Well these cheesehead morons have shown me the light. I'm now revoking my support on the war against terror. It's obvious that after reading the information on their website that Harvey Tidball is the real terrorist threat to this country. To think that our government has spent billions of dollars to bring the "Evil-Doers" to justice, and they somehow overlooked the menaceing shaved head of Harvey Tidball.

In all seriousness though, I'll be adding a new fuel stop on my way back from Afton this summer. Perhaps Iowa County will be a good place to spend a day or two of flying before continuing East. I'll be flying the red and white Pitts S2C, that might happen to write "FU STN" in pretty white smoke over your backyards. See ya soon cheeseheads................

Morons...

Anyone for a fly-in at Iowa County Airport?

I think they should rename that site to "We hate Tidball" thats all it appears to be!

I'll get a couple Yaks to come up and we can spell it out in formation;) :D

A little off topic, but how many 2Cs are out there now?

I read some responses pilots have made and I hope in the future they have a better response than attacking their family. I submitted a response that spelled out the fact that in both photos, both airplanes were flying straight and level and one airplane was so high I couldn't tell what kind of plane it was.

I also told them about a group in MA called stop the noise. I told them the FAA told stop the noise to stop calling them as the pilots are not breaking any laws. I also told them the FAA wants them to let them know when they see an airplane flying low to report the N-Number to them. I told them the FAA knows that the home owners has an agenda, and that they can drive to the airport and write down N-Numbers and make false reports. The FAA will not take their complaints seriously.

These are the things that need to be communicated, not personal attacks. God knows I wanted to get low and dirty, but I didn't want to give then more ammunition.

I can't find the photos. Where are they?

The photos are in the " read the incident report" section. Scroll down to where it links the photos and prepare to say "You gotta be kiddin me."
