Senator Dodd got his amendment in the bill that was passed that required TARP participants-

"Institute a company-wide policy regarding excessive or luxury expenditures, including entertainment or events, office and facility renovations, private jets, etc."

While the bill just passed Congress and we don't know all the details, any thoughts on what companies will do? Most likely, many companies will adopt some some new procedures, even if they didn't receive any TARP funding.

I would argue that a PRIVATE jet is different from a CORPORATE jet.

I would agree. While all of this is going on, I am glad I fly a Private jet.

"All management personnel will utilize company operated aircraft for all business-related travel."

Company-wide policy instituted.
