Ok, I've applied at Comair Academy, Pan Am Academy, ATP Academy, Airnet for a SIC slot, I was going to wait a bit and fax one to Flight Safety hoping that ASA program will get going again and they will hire from outside. So far no responses. That doesn't surprise me, I know its not the best time to be looking for a job.

I've got 600TT 45ME CFI, CFII, MEI
4 year degree, working on a Masters in Computer Science

Obviously I've got to put in some time instructing. I know I've got to leave town as our local FBO has no charters, no commercial operations, no multi for rent or training. Moving is no problem, but I'd prefer to stay in Florida. Anybody have some suggestions on where to apply?

Larry try Lake Region Air in Rangeley Maine. (207)864-5307. You can build alot of time spring through fall up there.Flying fire patrols, scenics in a float plane and they have a Navajo and a ce p210 on a 135 certificate.Great place to live for the summer.I was flying about 40 hours a week up there.Good luck

Regional Airline Academy

As usual great information on this board!

Does anybody have any info, attended, instructed at, etc... the Regional Airline Academy?

Hi...

I hope you find some info...I don't think they are that new, however.

I'm not sure if they'll be looking for instructors, but it's worth a try.

Good Luck
