Anyone do this? Thinking of having one that says "Learn to fly" with my fbo's phone number on it as well. What do others have? Any sites out there where I cna get one designed?

I don't know for sure but you may try calling places that make customized T-shirts and see if they can help. If you live anywhere near a college town you should have no problem finding 3, 4, or 5 different T-shirt shops.
Good luck!

Good Idea, however...

If you consider the cars that starving flight instructrors drive, it might scare away customers! Wouldn't want them thinking that the rust bucket I'm driving is representative of what the planes are like at the flight school! :) :D

The FBO I used to work for had a few vehicles with "Learn to Fly" plastered all over them.

I don't remember anybody calling us after having seen the cars.

But I do remember a few guys being rather annoyed thaty they couldn't party as hard as they would like sometimes. They figured that the image of a "Learn to Fly" truck parked at a bar just wasn't a good one...

I'm not marketing whiz, but I believe you really have to better target your potential customers WRT aviation. 99% of the people out there aren't interested in even considering learning how to fly. Those who are, will seek out the suppliers. Might consider a yellow pages add or signs close to the airport.

If you do stickers, make them as simple as possible and easy on the eyes (basic colors). The people reading them will be 20-30' or more away and have just a few seconds to read them.

Just a couple of thoughts... good luck!
