Steamboat Springs

I'm going to be spending 5-6 days in Steamboat beginning next weekend. The Sheraton is closed until December, and I don't think the boss will go for The Grand. That leaves the Hampton and Fairfield. Anyone have any experience with either?

Also, I'll be doing a lot of fishing in the Yampa, but may want to occasionally step out of the water to do something else. Any suggestions about bars, things to do, restaurants, etc... are appreciated.
