How many times at night have you heard the same controller at an airfield give a full route clearance, taxi someone, clear someone for landing and clear someone to takeoff? That was at LAX and BWI and LAS. How many enroute controllers have you heard talking to folks on three other frequencies then get P.O.d cause someone didn't respond to him/her? Or they didn't respond to your second or third query to deviate for a TRW? Or let you fly through their airspace without a handoff?
I am not slamming the ATC folks, they do a heck of a job, but they need our help, they are undermanned and its only going to get worse. We need to highlight any of these deficiences in safety, fill out a NASA next time.
