Anybody got any scoop on Stan Thomas? I think that his flight department is a cessna operation.

How are his airplanes staffed, are the pure P91? Does anybody have the actual name of his flight department or company and any contact information for the chief pilot?

Best regards.

They have 2 Citation Xs and atleast one CRJ. They were based at Hill at FTY. The story on the street is that they will be moving to Falcon Field if they have not already. They are 91 only. Chief Pilot's first name is Fred....memory has failed me on his last name. Ex USAir guy and very nice. They may have more aircraft than I stated now.

If anyone has a contact please PM or post. I am x USAir and would like to return to ATL. Mobie

Here is the info you seek.

Fred Cochran is the chief pilot whom is an awesome guy! THey have 2 Citation X and 1 CJ2 and are in the finishing process if not complete of moving to Newnan Georgia. Last I heard was that they were still in process of obtaining a helicopter. No CRJ that I am aware of at this time. BUt I did find out that they manage and crew a global express for Chick Fil A.

He allowed people like myself to build experience and time in CJ1/CJ2. Very nice guy and would be awesome to work for full time. They are strrickly Part 91. THe other 2 pilots are Dick and Wally.

Why did you hear that they are looking for pilots?

GO PATS!

I talked with Fred today (in person). Super nice guy. Nothing going on as far as hiring....he said he would either have to fire someone or someone would have to die. Basically, everyone was happy and not planning to go anywhere.

But, as posted above....he was a super nice guy.

Yup,

I did the same yesterday. There are very few jobs that I would give up my airline job for, but to fly for Stan Thomas and Fred I would quit tomorrow. THey are just that good to work for!

Good Luck!
