I'm going there on a cruise this month and I want to go to that beach near the airport with the bar nearby. What is the name of the beach and does anyone know how far it is from the port? Thanks!

The Maho Beach is the beach where you see all the pictures of jets landing what looks like on the beach. There is a couple of bars at one end and the Maho Beach Resort at the other end. One of the bars is called Sunset bar, and I believe thats the one closest to the flightpath. Then there is the Tortuga at the Royal Islander. It should be about a 20 minute drive from the port costing around 10ish dollars or so.

One landing will do it, then you will be digging all the sand out of your teeth. Scenery is a lot better on the French part of the island.
