First year: $39.00
second: $49.96
third: $54.00
fourth: $55.90
Captain;
fifth: $102.95
sixth: $104.86
Top out: $137.88

there is a 72 hour guarantee in general terms.

I cut short the rate table because any current newhire should upgrade before the fifth FO year.

There better not be any first year Captains. We killed that demon three years ago.

The Secret: Have a mailing address in south Florida or the Detroit area!

Spirit has, absolutely, prefered local pilots in the recent past. However, having a south FL or Detroit area address is NOT required. I know many who have been hired over the last few years who were not locals. I don't know the current call for interview criteria, but I imagine that a well written cover letter along with excellent qualifications are sufficient. A friend on the inside is also most likely helpful.
good luck,

I heard you guys are getting $125 million cash infusion in order to renew the fleet. Anything definitive as to what aircraft Spirit will be getting? Just curious.

It's a good thing that I interviewed last decade. Today, I'd never pass the written.:D

What are the realistic hours Spirit is looking for? They are advertising 2500 TT and 750 Multi. Seems kind of low. What's the catch?

No Catch...........I think they just want to keep there options open!

But would a person with let's say, just for example of course, about 4500TT and mmm...1300Multi with an internal recommendation realistically have a chance?

I don't believe the $125 million will be going towards any Boeing aircraft-- Spirit got snubbed by them earlier this year. I suspect Airbus or Embraer will win out on the orders...
