This is for any Spirit pilots on here. I am trying to get to Haiti and want to know if you guys take jumpseaters international (is it cockpit only) and how are the loads? Planning to do some volunteer work over vacation & trying to figure out how to get there. Looking at going out of FLL.

Thanks for any help. Not the easiest place to arrange travel to.

its easy, call 866 609-8858, list for the flight as other airliner jumpseater, pay your taxes and your done. show up early preferably go to ticket counter and get a security pass( just to be safe ) and then go to the gate and say hello. reminder: there is no international CASS, you will need a passenger seat ( or FA jumpseat if available ) wear your uniform

Thanks for the info. Any idea how the loads are to Haiti. I wouldn't think they would be too full lately.

I did PAP the other day and going over from FLL we had 1 open seat on the way back we were completely full.

The passengers were a mix of about 25% or so Haitians and 75% nurses, doctors, church mission workers.
