Just wanted to let everyone know since its really just been on the LCC board.

Spirit pilots,

Today the National Mediation Board issued a Proffer of Arbitration to both ALPA and Spirit Airlines. Either ALPA or Spirit must refuse the Proffer before a 30 day cooling off period can begin. The MEC will meet as soon as possible to discuss and vote on how to respond to the Proffer. Once again, a 30 day cooling off period has not begun, until the proffer is refused by either party. Please stay informed by reading all fast-reads and listening to the VARS.

Fraternally,

Your MEC

Good luck guys. I sincerely hope you get a deal done soon and don't have to actually strike. But, if you do and I'm coming through FLL, I'll gladly join you guys on the picket line. Stand firm and stay unified!
