Anyone know anything about this rumor. I heard Spirit gave up some slots out of National... ?? I and and everone else are very disappointed with recent Spirt reduction.. Hang in there guys.

The DCA slots were no longer viable after Sept. 11 and the Company has decided there is not enough growth there to justify restarting those operations. Spirit decided to use the assets to expand west. DEN, LAS.

Really, I'd have thought DCA flyin is like bread and butter money, especially DCA into Florida and west, but what do I know, i'm just a lowly prop guy. Hey 9stick, what your take on the furlough deal? Is it a negoiating tatic or something else?

Thanks for the info... I guess it is true. Rumors flying around the AirTran crew lounge indicate that we had picked them up?

Not sure how they think we can make money on the deal when you guys couldn't. At a glance, I would suspect not a whole lot of liesure travel to Florida out of National?

Just guys like Condit taking their chick down to Liquordale. God Bless America.
