Spirit Jumpseat policy

I have been told that Spirit has an open jumpseat policy like JetBlue. Is this true?? I'm hoping to fly them out of LGA next month.

Thanks :)

I don't work for Spirit, my only experience with the jumpseat there is taking it, so I don't know the answer. I do know that when I've jumpseated on Spirit, they have made every effort to get me on.

An exceptional group of people over there - I suspect the only way you won't get on is if every seat is full.

I've called dispatch down in FL, and they have looked at the loads, and done what they can.

Spirit Jumpseat

In my opinion, one of the best airlines to jumpseat with.

I believe thier policy is open, and also they will allow (With the CA and Lead FA's permission) you to sit in one of the empty F/A jumpseats.

The crews are great too...

great... thanks for the info.
