lots of turnover driving this? a sign of the 2007 hiring boom?

lots of turnover driving this? a sign of the 2007 hiring boom?

The December authorization is news to me (why should I be told as an average line goober?), but...

Given the current age 60 rule, we will average 10 retirements/year for the next few.

We have a number of guys holding on to TWA/AA, USAir, and United seniority nos.; most will have to make a decision within the next year or two. My opinion? The TWA and United guys will scram, the USAir guys will depend on upgrades and personal preferences (domicile location, etc.).

This one's hard to put a finger on, but it's rumored that a few guys will bolt to Virgin. My guess is the carrot looks too tasty and they probably want to live out West. May peace be with them.

Then there's the oddball attrition: pilot A gets on at Fedex, pilot B does something absolutely stupid and gets themselves fired, pilot C decides to go spend some time with the Dali Lama.

As our history shows, this IS a hiring boom by Spirit standards.

Is there any chance they will call people without RECs? I live 2hrs away and, believe it or not, would kill for a DTW domicile. Unfortunately, I know no one there. If any of you Spirit guys want a lot of beer, let me know.

Bingo.........

We are CASS - don't know the taxes.

Since you are so against ALPA and we are an ALPA carrier why would you want to JS on us?

Better yet, why is he even jumpseating at all if he's so anti-ALPA? If it wasn't for ALPA going to bat for us after 9/11, then the JS would have been permanently taken from us.
