Can't seem to get any good solid answers on this topic, so I'm turning to of all places, FI. Awesome!

What is Spirit's policy when it comes to new hires resigning your seniority number, for all of us furloughees out here?

Delta does, JetBlue doesn't, VA does........Spirit (fill in the blank)

They definitely do not make people resign their seniority number...we have a handful of ex-TWA guys with AA numbers (who oddly enough were actually able to take a personal leave of absence go to AA and come back when they got furloughed again in the last couple of years)...and I know of at least 1 USAir guy, and 1 NWA guy. I'm sure there are a few others.

However, our slimy, scum bag management can and will and have change(d) a policy at the drop of a hat to suit their needs...and I have no idea what the current official policy is.

A United pilot friend got a LOA from United to go to Spirit. United after two years made him resign or come back so he resigned.
