it'll be about like that 'american fighter pilots' bull******************** that was on cbs.

it was cool, but spare me

Lemme just say "242 you are taxiing WAY to goddamn fast!!! Is there a problem?!?!?!"

"no sir"

Oh and... "power Power POWER!!!"

It's got to be at least as entertaining as Annapolis. Although Annapolis did have that one hot chick.

I would rent this if it were on Netflix.

As far as Annapolis, that was the worst military movie since Red Flag, The Ultimate Game. Was there a single military training movie cliche missed? For example, I told my wife that the black guy would comitt suicide as soon as I saw him, since it is a given in every hollywood basic training movie that someone in every training class commits suicide.

Yeah I picked the black guy committing suicide but I didn't call it until he got kicked out.

BTW, you know that movie was filmed in Philadelphia, right? There ain't no shipyard on the other side of the Severn River.

I pre-ordered it because I like aviation porno and the "Real World", big deal, I'll copy it and give it to my nephews for their birthdays, two birds with one stone.

"Slick" was one of my students for a year. Great chic and pilot and funny as hell. I'd get it just to see her. There's a reason they call her "Slick" though.

Her callsign was "Slick" because her chest could be bare on daytime TV without a black box, if you know what I mean.

HEY BEAN!!!!!!!

Not having a military background I can't fully comment on all aspects - but sure enjoyed it. I was not only impressed with the excellent cinematography, but it had a really engaging and touching storyline.

Sure made me reflect on my earlier decisions in college to leave the ROTC tract (of course the BRAC's in the early 90's didn't help)

On a side note (and unfortunately it doesn't apply to me anymore): what's the oldest age waiver for UPT that is allowed or that you've heard of before? just curious...
