Firstly, others do benefit from the "extra profits", and secondly, "extra profits" will bring more entrants into the marketplace which usually results in a lower market price. I recall something from Economics 101 and supply and demand.
Also, do not forget who the "evil corporations" are -- the vast majority os stock ownership is owned, directly or indirectly, by pension funds, 401k plans, etc. So the profits do return.
As and aside, a certain amount of "extra profits" are needed so that a company can afford a business jet, therefore increasing the demand for corporate jet pilots. Without profits, no matter how much of a time savings it may be, a company must be able to afford to pay the flight department expenses.
A little off topic aviation-wise, but I just looked at the 999 calculator due to Gunfyter's reply. Someone really needs to tell Herman Cain to step away from the crack pipe if he thinks that businesses will pass the savings from lower corporate taxes onto consumers (see the note at the bottom of the calculator). That will NEVER happen. Ever.
Are you kidding me? You think NetJets won't tell the OEMs to pass on that tax savings? You think WalMart won't tell the few non-Chinese suppliers to cut their price?
Its just a matter of time before we are all flying bigger jets for more pay
