God bless their families, what a tragedy.

This makes the second VLJ test mishap in recent memory. The other was that jet at Colorado Springs last month. Not atypical for flight test regime, but not a good sign either for the VLJ's as a whole.

If anyone's interested, the NTSB Preliminary report came out. During a maintenance just before the accident, the ailerons were rigged to operate in reverse. . .
