Like everybody else, I'm hoping get my application in the next time the window opens.

I've heard the online application asks if you have international experience (yes or no question). Are they only talking about ocean crossings to Europe and/or Asia?

I've got experience flying to the Caribbean - class II navigation, non-radar environment, position reports, equal time points, HF/SELCAL, nav accuracy checks, etc. etc.

Does this qualify as international experience for UPS on the application?

Thanks in advance.

When you get to that point on the app., they have 4 or 5 boxes that you check for the different international experiences(continents) you might have been to. I can tell you each one has its own quirks and such, ie northern asia is a little different than southern asia, than India, China(meters and QFE), Russia(meters and QFE), south america and so on. And remember Africa is totally different, position report broadcast in the blind, plus to ATC(if they even decide to answer that day)

Hope this helps.
