speaking spanish a plus?

I went to a Wendys in Gainesville, TX and was amazed that no one there spoke english. The line was full of non-spanish speaking customers. I felt as if I was in Mexico City. I think if you come to the United States, then you should speak english period.
I also think US employers should stop catering to spanish speaking only immigrant workers, or at least quit making it a requirment for employment. I have seen many jobs non-aviation that require being Bi-lingual.
