Why is it that Southwest appears to be exempt from the Allegheny-Mohawk Labor Integration Provision? Whenever Southwest screws, um sorry “acquires” another carrier the pilots of the acquired carrier are automatically (it seems) stapled to the bottom of Southwest’s list?

Airtran pilots – demand proper seniority integration with your new masters and don’t let Southwest screw you like they tried to screw the Froniter pilots.

Where did you get the impression anybody was exempt from McCaskill Bond?

so is Airtran going to run as a separate airline, or under the Southwest name? Or is the idea to scrap them all together?

The press release on southwest.com says that they intend to merge both carriers into a single airline.

Swa was looking for a loophole
When they made a bid on Frontier.

Swa would be wise to push for DOH, now
Because in the end it will probably be closer
To relative seniority if it goes to
Arbitration.

Looks like the lump in mother Delta's breast just metastasized.

If I were an Airtran pilot, I would hope the arbitrators take care of this. Regardless, HAVE A FANTASTIC DAY! You guys are just a bunch of swell fellas!

Bye Bye--General Lee

There are no more gates available at ATL anyway. And, this just gives Delta the push it needs to get rid of more RJs and find more mainline equipment to compete. Also, this gives DL and USAir the ability to argue to get the slots sold at LGA and DCA, since SWA will now have more slots at each. It will actually make DL stronger in the NYC business scene when they get the additional terminal at LGA that USAir will vacate. It looks like a win win for all airlines.

Regardless, I HOPE YOU HAVE A FANTASTIC DAY, and do something nice for someone now, like give a small kitten a bowl of milk.

no it wouldn't DOH would be a windfall for airtran pilots. It will be a measurable raise for airtran and a 1 for 3 years of service integration.

WN F/O's make more than Air tran captains. dust off your f/o epps and enjoy the pay raise.

General, send some of whatever you're smoking today down to the Smyrna area. You seem to have gotten your hands on some great shizz. It's always nice to share.
