What's going on here is nothing more than business and capitalism in action. If SWA is doing anything wrong, file a lawsuit and have the DOJ step in. I feel plenty of sympathy for the employees of Frontier. This is a tough industry not unlike many others in this country. My father worked in the insurance business. He worked at five different companies during his 45 year career. They were either bought out, merged or simply closed. Sound familiar. If I were at Frontier, I would be putting out applications right now. I have several friends that work at Frontier. All are great guys, and I've offered to write LORs for them. I know it is hard starting over but you have to do what you have to do.

How long before Frontier closes the doors?

Relax, you might have to suffer another day or two in the pool. I guess I shouldn't be surprised at the lack of class displayed on this board, but every now and then I just have to shake my head. I don't blame southwest for our demise, but some of you really need to shut the fack up and let this run its course without your giddiness in full public display.

I also have few friends at Frontier and wish you guys the best, Frontier is one classy airline with an excellent product and customer service, all the best guys, here at Midex we are facing the same thing with Airtran, I think we are not far off behind you. All the best to all in this business.

I would respectfully ask all SWA pilots to refrain from posting any comments that might be viewed as positive for SWA.

No matter the intention, it is viewed as gloating and serves no purpose.

Remember, a thriving Frontier Airlines is more important to SWA. A healthy industry is what is ultimately the most important priority for all of us.

In these unfortunate financial times in this industry we all have affection for, good luck to us all.

Well said.

Well said sir. I'm ashamed of some of the classless comments regarding the demise of another carrier.

Curr Position: 320 FO

I would believe he is not an SWA pilot.

The relevence of the post is what matters, not type of AC flown.

you have to be kidding me right? If the shoe was on the other foot and SWA was going under this board would have a party on here. When SWA was under investigation by the Feds how many people on FI was screaming happy happy joy joy, SWA is going to get what it deserves. Everyone is a big boy and if you cant take the heat then sign out of FI!
