Not sure how they treat people but I know pay is low. I have 2 friends who have been there, one left to be a Comair FO.
 
Use 'Search' on this site... about 99% negative comments regarding Southern Air. Seem to be true bottom feeders with pitiful pay always looking for down on their luck pilots or time builders.
