Yeah Delta too! With their double-breasted jackets, pfffft. And for the record, not all NJ pilots are ******************************bags, just most.
What has it been 3 months since furloughs and all the sudden Netjets has erased all debt, making millions of profit, going to buyout all other fractionals, recall all pilots, hire all the other layed off pilots in the industry including the airlines, ordering 757's for supplemental lift, staying in Waldorf's on overnights, order any food you want, and made a huge donation to cancer research and cured cancer? I can't wait to hear all the gloating and mouthing on the way to hotels and in the pilot lounges that I can't get a seat in.
Just a little sick of hearing all the mouthing of you guys and the last few months it has been pleasant since you've been humbled.
rant over.
Amen to that! Guys like CaptDad thought Netjets was the returning of Jezus. It is good to see that you guys have learned that nothing is perfect, even with Buffett running the overall show. Gotta keep those costs in line! No more Salmon Sandwiches at podunk FBOs.... And, good to hear no more furloughs.
Bye Bye---General Lee

Please. When you can afford to leave an airplane parked at Heathrow for a month at $22K per day ramp fee ...
No salmon sandwiches? But you do get $50 box lunches at KLAS right? Ya know, at the Atlantic Aviation that has a restaurant inside the FBO.
You still get so much food that a good amount gets given away to the rampers each day, right?
Maybe an actual "Salmon Sandwich" was never offered, but I think the point was you guys spent crazy cash on crazy food. I hear you still do, 3rd meal tax not withstanding.
Ah nice. There are at least 7 furloughed pilots annual salaries right there. I'm glad they would rather spend it on ramp fees. Priorities right?
So your point is what?
Money doesn't matter? I don't have time to go to the restaurant IN THE FBO? I suffered so now I'm entitled?
How can you possibly justify a crew meal in KLAS when the restaurant is inside the FBO? Let's see, you can order a turkey sandwich crew meal to be delivered 2 hours before you land and let it sit around (maybe in a fridge, maybe not), or you can order a FRESH sandwich at the restaurant and eat it hot.
One costs $50 and one costs $6. One is fresh and the other sat around for God knows how long.
You do realize you are arguing for the side that wants the $50, sat around meal verses the $6 fresh meal right?
I think they're all a bunch of jerks.... Oh wait! I thought we were talking about Delta pilots. Never mind!
What if you're Retired Delta AND Retired NetJets ?
Meaning you're now a non-jerk ?
You know, it's disgusting that you netjets pilots have a better gig then everyone else. You should be ashamed of yourselves because you suffered for a long time and stood your ground for a decent contract. Then you went ahead and fixed that contract for a better one and you had to go and tell everyone how life at netjets was really nice. Now we have had the worst financial meltdown since the great depression and netjets is still around. How dare you survive on a contract that is better then everyone elses'. I hate it when someone else is happier then me at their job. ....
Oh wait, I work for NJ.
Why can't people just accept the fact that, even today, we are still a good place to work and that most of us are still happy. Flex, flops, shares (air), xo, avantair.. All have just as good pilots as us.. You chose those places while we chose nj. The shoe can be on the other foot in a heartbeat. Why the hell can't we all just hope to make it through this and recall all of our pilots in the near future. To hell with what some jealous airline dude (general lee) says or thinks. Many of us have worked for the airlines and have actually lived both sides. I take it lee has only lived the airline side. That's too bad..
