What has it been 3 months since furloughs and all the sudden Netjets has erased all debt, making millions of profit, going to buyout all other fractionals, recall all pilots, hire all the other layed off pilots in the industry including the airlines, ordering 757's for supplemental lift, staying in Waldorf's on overnights, order any food you want, and made a huge donation to cancer research and cured cancer? I can't wait to hear all the gloating and mouthing on the way to hotels and in the pilot lounges that I can't get a seat in.

Just a little sick of hearing all the mouthing of you guys and the last few months it has been pleasant since you've been humbled.

Hate to break it to you, but nothing has changed for us out on the road. Nice hotels. Good food (Mmmmmm mmm!!! Love those salmon sandwiches!). The only thing that's gotten worse is the continually worsening experience of riding the airlines. But make sure you say thanks to your boss for us General. The continuing crap that riding the airlines is, always proves to be good for all the fracs! You guys in the airlines are the best advertising any of us in the fracs could ask for!!!! So a big heartfelt thanks for that!

Realityman, you are spot on. In fact, it's Lee's bread and butter that has continued its slide faster than others. They now hold 40% of the domestic seats back so only the gate agents at the departure point can assign seats in the 24 hrs preceding departure. Try getting a seat assignment the day before when our tickets are purchased. I called reservations and she suggested I book earlier. Was that your idea Lee? That's the way to treat the last minute business travelers.

Please. When you can afford to leave an airplane parked at Heathrow for a month at $22K per day ramp fee ... You can afford a little crew food. Crew food is like Jet Fuel. If you want to fly you have to put some in the airplane.

Typically, once I start up the aircraft APU in the morning ... the avionics are on for 10 to 12 hours straight ... powered by the APU on the ground during stops or the engines in flight. There is little time to go to restaurants in FBOs

Catering costs what it costs. The alternative of parking the airplane for an hour is far more expensive than keeping the crew fed and happy. Besides, we've already been over this before: At many locations, the price of a meal is nearly the same whether you get prime rib or a turkey sandwich.

You should be ashamed of yourselves because you suffered for a long time and stood your ground for a decent contract. Then you went ahead and fixed that contract for a better one and you had to go and tell everyone how life at netjets was really nice. Now we have had the worst financial meltdown since the great depression and netjets is still around. How dare you survive on a contract that is better then everyone elses'. I hate it when someone else is happier then me at their job. ....

Why can't people just accept the fact that, even today, we are still a good place to work and that most of us are still happy. Flex, flops, shares (air), xo, avantair.. All have just as good pilots as us.. You chose those places while we chose nj. The shoe can be on the other foot in a heartbeat. Why the hell can't we all just hope to make it through this and recall all of our pilots in the near future. To hell with what some jealous airline dude (general lee) says or thinks. Many of us have worked for the airlines and have actually lived both sides. I take it lee has only lived the airline side. That's too bad..

If we fly into Atlantic at KLAS and order catering from there, then the restaurant is who might make our meals. Normally we fly into Signature though, and use our contracted caterer from there. We do fly into numerous airports where the onsite restaurant is our caterer. Nothing to do with entitlement and everything to do with keeping the operation running. Maybe some day you'll realize your self-worth and desire reasonable food while working as well.

Could be. Pretty incorrect stereotype. I can count on one finger the amount of "jerk" retired NJA pilots I know. I can think of less than 10 true "jerk" active NJA pilots. I can also think of several hundred who raised 5 figures for a furloughed pilots Christmas fund before we were even furloughed.

Same goes for Delta guys. I can think of many who graciously offered their jumpseat when I was commuting at the airlines. I remember one who was a jerk while asking for my jumpseat. I bet even General Lee would help you out of you needed it....
