Yeah, getting ready to go the airport...loading up the car. Bags behind bumper of the Jimmy. Go up to my APT to grab the rest...come down to see a Purple Geo Tracker driving off. I run after him but he starts hauling ass.

This sucks so bad because I am on the road 19 days a month so I had everything in there.

He stole my pilot's unifom, passport, airline ID, Sony laptop (2,000), Sony W1 digital cam (300), and my aviation headsets (600). Those are the items that piss me off the most.

I have renters insurace and it should cover some of it. However, does anybody have any advice for dealing with the insurance company (USAA)?

Thanks...

This sucks....

Yeah they were great when i got my golf clubs stolen. They settle the matter quickly and don't screw you on depreciation. They actually ask you to report the price to replace the item new or equivalent (new model)...makes a big difference.

so sorry my man! good luck. Hope it is resolved quickly.

I'll drink a pint for you!

That bites man. Lived near the border for a while, wifes car was broken into twice, Stuff swiped off the porch etc etc...

They never got my motorcycle though......not that they didn't try. Had a disc lock, cover lock, and a chain big enough to anchor a large tug boat wrapped around the frame and attached to a concrete and steel 50 foot light post
Even with nice sized bolt cutters it would take way too long to get through it all before somebody passed by and caught them.

A thousand mile electrified fence..........that is what we need on the southern border!!!!

You are in luck on the insurance company. USAA is great. You'll have it all replaced with no hassle.

Didn't work in Jurassic Park...the raptors kept attacking it to check for weaknesses...

I'm sure they'd just end up pissing on it to try to short it out...

Good luck man with the insurance. My insurance co was pretty d!ck when we had some sh*t stolen...had to "PROVE" that there was "forced entry" or we got nothing...about 5 months later we got a check for half, then we had to buy the stuff and send in the receipts to get the other half

We dumped them pretty quick...

Good luck!
