i always knew the DC-3 was a tough hunk of metal. A real bullet-proof "ain't gonna keep me down" kind of plane. but i had no idea just how much so after reading this. I forgot about the article printed in 'Air & Space' long ago.

i like the part about it costs the same to hang overhauled radials on this thing as it does to hang engines on a Baron. but unfortunately you shut one down every 500 hours.
