Us new guys are protected by the Soldiers and Sailors Civil Relief Act as well for those who didn't know. Rights include but are not limited to:
-Termination of lease agreements before the expiration of the lease.
-Reduction of credit card interest rate to 6% prorated to date of entry into service (must be able to prove that going into the military is a financial burden as compared to your civilian job).
-Deferment and/or suspension of some Title IV students loans as defined by the DoE without interest accrual. Other student loan payments may also be deferred or suspended. However, if they are unsubsidized the interest will accrue.
