I have used hard before and it worked very well. Now I am about to get another pair made and I was wondering how the two are different. I will be using it this time with a Plantronics MS50.

go soft

I had the hard molded ear-piece(s) and they seemed to give me hot spots in my ear. I also noticed that many of the in-ear piece users use the custom soft moldies. take care

get the soft.... (satin soft I believe)

it's made like an earplug. A little bigger, then it fits tighter, expanding in your ear and keeps out noise.

I can't see how i wore the hard molds all those years before.
