Soaring in Alabama

Anyone know how to break in around here? BHM area.

I tried chasing down a phone # for the only club I know of in the area and it was a goose chase. Everyone who answered the phone was no longer active and passed me along....sigh. I'd like to get involved this year.

I know there's a club or two closer to BHM but the club in Huntsville is definitely active. We fly out of the Moontown airport.

There's also a nice race series that starts on 3/15. We race about a dozen weekends a year at different gliderports in AL, GA, TN. Very fun.
