"Marana Airpark just north of Tucson,AZ is accessable to the public by the air. I don't know how they handle visitors flying into MZJ but there is nothing in the facility directory that says it is not open to the public."

As a former employee of Evergreen Airlines, my understanding was that Marana is a private airport. Unless your an employee, your not getting in.

What do they do with the newer planes ( 777-200's etc ) that are just sitting? Do they pull engines and avionics and then re-install after business picks up? Absolutely mind blowing how much cashola is just sitting out there in the desert.

For what it's worth I was just in Kingman and the lady behind the desk at the FBO said they were supposedly getting like 100 more 737's in there in the coming weeks/months.
