- Closer to home (very short/easy commute).
- $7/hr pay raise.
- No more crashpad.
- Longer overnights.
- Better schedules.
- Will no longer have to rely on a piss-poor public transportation system in order to make sign in on time.
- No customs after every turn.
- No having to go through security 3-4 times a day.
- More food choices at all airports we fly into.
- Won’t have to ride a bus to the airplane
- Will be able to understand and take part in any and all crew room conversations.
- Quieter crew room, even though there will be 7 times as many crew members.
- Will be able to understand controllers
- Will be dealing with controllers that know what they are doing (excluding SJU, STT, and STX)
- ATIS at all airports that we fly into.
- Accurate wind and weather reports (no more reports of wind at 10kts when it’s 20 gust 30. . . Dominican Republic)
- Parallel taxiways at all airports.
- To sum up ATC: The taxi and before takeoff checklists will no longer be interrupted by a hard to understand controller (who does not possess the mental aptitude to work with more than one aircraft at a time and is working ATIS, Ground, Tower, Approach, and Departure) giving us our taxi, IFR, and take-off clearance all while we are back-taxiing on an active runway. . . no more flying into St Kitts, St. Lucia or Antigua.
- Radar contact everywhere.
- Will no-longer have to shoot a full instrument approach in VMC for traffic separation. . . Antigua, St. Lucia, St. Kitts etc.
- Will no longer have to say "radial and DME” every 30 seconds after getting cleared direct to a VOR. . . no more flying into Antigua.
- No more reporting over a fix on an Airway and not more than 5 seconds later getting asked for our DME. . . Antigua
- FMS in all aircraft
- Altitude selector will have detents
- APU
- Jet bridges
- Will no longer need an FA/translator when dealing with ground crew. . . Dominican Republic
- Better ground crews and operations that will have reasoning/teamwork skills, initiative, common sense, and accountability. (no more flying into St. Kitts)
