You know the difference between a Flight Attendant and a washing machine?

A washing machine doesn't follow you around after you dump a load in it.

If we told you about how wild the over nights were, you wouldn't believe us. We're talking about stuff that would make porno stars and the girls in the donkey show blush. When you get to an airline you will find out for yourself.

Yea, I know what you mean, when I was with Harbor Clearance Unit Two, we would always throw a pick nick party for the newbies that graduated from dive school. We'd rent some hooker for the party and when things started going pretty good and all the family people were gone, she would entertain us by smoking a cigar with her cootchie, maybe she would take a pee on one of the guy's faces or a dump on their chest. It's all great fun.

As for what you kids are doing on your lunch hour, you're not inventing anything new and most of us didn't have to get a low paying regional job to get laid. I'm sure to all low time non-experienced people, just getting some poontang probably seems like something kinky...but you aren't doing anything anybody else hasn't done...except when I did it, you could get cured for all the STD's out there.

Just remember...when you are home on your days off tending to a crib full of poo while mommies out doing high speeds with another flight crew...don't wipe that kid's ass! Because sooner or later that kid will be 16 or 17 years old and it will be raining or snowing and he'll/she'll want to borrow the car. You will tell him/her no because it isn't a good idea because of the weather and that ungratefull SOB will cuss at you for it. That's when you'll say..."And that's why I didn't wipe your ass, you little pri@k!"

I don't want to go off on a rant, but

It has already been stated, but I'll say it again. Most of the young female FAs have been furloughed. I think the golden age of aviation was over when the industry changed their name from 'Stewardess' to 'Flight Attendant' and allowed men to work in the back of the plane. That's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

I was always just curious about this... every time I fly on a small jet or regional airline, it always seems to be two young male pilots, and like 2 or 3 young attractive female flight attendants...
I just wonder what happens on their stay-over trips?
The key focus in your question is "IT ALWAYS SEEMS," which indicates your own personal interest. The majority of pilots and F/As have attended college. The aviation environment is equivalent to any closed social system [university campus, business, military, etc...] where interaction becomes familiar on a daily basis.

There are always attractions on many levels between co-workers, however, circumstances deny the ability to follow through with these impulses [although there is little restriction on the imagination]. There is a phenomena in psychology called 'covert learning' where we learn our environment without formal intent. It becomes 'intuition' when confronting different situations.

It is intuition that tips off a spouse of infidelity. Everyone in the corporate environment also recognize a change in behavior when team members fraternize. You can not disguise your body language; any attempt to do so detracts from your presence of mind which further exposes the denial of feelings.

People who are happily married generally do not stray regardless of the beauty in their work environment, they have no compulsion to do it. Even with an open marriage there is an understanding of commitment that must be met to be considered faithful. Single members have less personal restrictions but are confronted with personal innate parameters of attraction which are either met or denied through interaction.

I don't know if you have ever been in love, however, it is a chemical bonding triggered by interacting with an individual who meets predisposed parameters learned through childhood and these chemical hormones are very addictive. If you play with fire you will get burned eventually.

Many people flirt which is playfully experimentation with these hormones attempting to extract the manic side of the effect without experiencing the depression. Again, if you play with fire................

Nik78, I'm curious how many PMs from you get from people on this board.

Ailerongirl, how about you. How many times have you been hot on, or asked out via PM?

I'm Hurt!

No one asked for my opinion! :D I used to be a Flight Attendant. And no, I do not weigh a ton and I was very senior! :) You be the judge if I look old and tired. Go to this link on my website www.awriteresume.com/company.htm (I will be expecting all my dating offers in PM's! ha ha) At least humor me!! Of course, I am not near as cute as my daughter, but she will not be available for about another 18 years!

Do the pilots sleep with the flight attendants? Yep, it does happen. Is it a good thing to do? Probably not. I have seen many married crew members (not just the men) cheat with each other and everyone at the airline knew it. I can think of two couples right off the bat.

One instance in particular involved two pilots and one flight attendant. Apparently the two pilots were flying together and had no knowledge that either of them dated the same FA. Crew change happened, and it just so happened that the FA was on the outbound crew.

Well, needless to say, the cat was out of the bag! The two pilots ended up in a dual in the jetway in front of passengers. After that, they had a nice talk with the CP.

Are there faithful pilots and FA's out there. Absolutely! I can think of many people that have never been involved in any scandal at the airline.

I think when people do get together, it is either because there are problems at home or being with someone who understands the airline business is a comfort. That is why so many people suffer from Airline Induced Divorce Syndrome.

Just my knowledge of the subject...

Kathy

Forget the PM's, your address and phone # are posted on your website!!

just out of pure curiosity, and sorry to change subject, but is this the BUSIEST Aviation forum on the net? I can't believe how many repsonses threads get here and how fast they come in..

How about compared to Airliners.net ? That site claims to be the biggest aviation site on the net and the busiest too. But they make you pay to use their forums. Are these forums just as big as theirs, and busier?

I second the above. I think Tim can say a few words with regards to this subject as well.:D Is this a fantasy? No it does happen and you would be surprised...

Chandler is a suburb of PHX. I am always willing to have coffee. I love talking with people in the aviation industry. :)

Geez.... some of you guys are so pathetic you couldn't get laid in whorehouse with a wad of $50 bills in your pocket!

IT'S a DATE!! Hey, folks, I got a DATE from the message board. Should I write a review afterwards??:) :)

this thread is just getting ridiculous...
I didn't mean to start a Love Connection thread by any means!

lol, but I am glad for ya..

You are right, but it's in fun.

In fact, I suspect that as you have learned, most of that stuff, has long since gone by the way. Kind of like vendors doing kickbacks or payola. Now, everyone is trying to keep their jobs, and how do you ask someone you work with out, without being accused of sexual harassment. Losing your job, etc, etc.

P.M.s

In answer to a recent question, I really don't get too many PMs...I don't post very often, but I usually get one or two if I do post something. Oh yeah, and I am VERY much a female ;)
