I was wondering if anyone has any idea on how to go about biding on or getting access to small freight jobs, like 1000lbs and under on an on demand basis.

I am not trying to find out how to get a job flying for someone, it is from a company perspective. We have aircraft, just wondering if anyone has any extra info on websites or services or contacts where we can bid on freight jobs under 1000lbs.

We have a fair amount of business now, just trying to get some other options also. Thanks for any help!!

There are 3 big main websites and numerous small ones that post RFQs (Request for Quotes); GrandAire, Active Aero (USA JET), and AirNow. They sometimes post 100+ trips per day but the on-demand cargo biz has not been so good lately. I used to bid trips for a living so if you have any questions feel free to ask.

Don't forget about these bid sites: NLM, DBA, and the whore of the industry Ameristar.

Hey buckeye,

I have never heard of NLM or DBA...can you give me the email address to them and tell me what they are?? I would greatly appreciate it!

Buckeye,

If you could post a web address for NLM and DBA would be great.
I searched but came up empty.
Thanks,

Kevin
