I was wondering if anyone has any idea on how to go about biding on or getting access to small freight jobs, like 1000lbs and under on an on demand basis.

I am not trying to find out how to get a job flying for someone, it is from a company perspective. We have aircraft, just wondering if anyone has any extra info on websites or services or contacts where we can bid on freight jobs under 1000lbs.

We have a fair amount of business now, just trying to get some other options also. Thanks for any help!!

At my old company, when the auto freight was out of control, we were on Active Aero (usa jet), and Grand Aire websites bidding for trips.

You have to call them to get access, as well as provide them with your proof of insurance and whatever else they wanted. Not sure about all of the paperwork. I just flew the plane.

You won't get rich doing it, especially now. But you may be able to pick up something here and there.

THanks guys,

I already got a paket from active aero and after going to airnow I remember it from before, I am going to call the guy today.

I wish I could have gotten a few more responses, but thats ok, thanks to you guys who did respond I really do appreciate it!!
