Slow/No loading web site

Is it just me or is this web site running slower than ever. In the past week I have had the page not load at all several times and often times extremely slowly. Sometimes I will reply to a post and never get it posted because while I am trying to post it, the web site cannot be found and what I just wrote is gone when you go back. All other web sites work fine and I have cable. Is this happening to anyone else?? Quite frustrating...

I'm having the same problems. I wonder if it has to do with the release of Service Pack 2 for Windows XP?

Just noticed this today. I actually had to reconstruct my hard drive this week due to similar problems on all websites, but everything except FI.com has been working fine since.

I think it is specific to this site. I have read other threads where the administrator has made posts referencing work being done on the site.

before you go Dicto Simplicitor on us...there have been problems with other sites...maybe the gay porn ones are doing ok, but www.subguns.com has been off the net for a few days now and www.uzitalk.com has had problems as well.

Here is thread from www.uzitalk.com where there is discusion about some problems with internet has crashed thousands of sites...for the clueless, it's not in the first post, it's about 2/3'ds down where the www.uzitalk.com board admin explains the problem.

Whatever, dude. I have "ponied" up several times to help this site out. Check the list, bro.

Besides, I am only repeating what I have read on THIS site. Of the half dozen sites I frequent...mostly guitar gear or band related, none are having problems...only THIS one. I wouldn't know about the "other" sites of which you speak. So, as always, you are right. The rest of us are wrong. But I do see you are making your typical useful contribution to the discourse here. Carry on.

I am not having any problems. Maybe a tad slow but nothing out of the usual. Have been getting some errors tho (page not found) about 1 in 20 page loads.

The Flightinfo site started loading slow and locking up yesterday. It seems to be a little better today.
