Interesting. There hasn't been a peep about this anywhere. Not even rumors. So it could be:
1) Mis-ID aircraft. Wouldn't be the first time by a F-15 driver (just kiddin' dude...relax!)
2) FedEx has done a masterful job of covering up a jet sliding off a runway. (Personally, I doubt it, cause rumors and word of aircraft incidents - even just overheating brakes - tend to break Einstein's laws in the spreading of the info).
3) What happened may not be what you think happened. This may be the reason we haven't heard anything. Crew may have had a problem that required stopping and tow in, or hydraulic failure as they taxied clear,who knows. If there was an actual sliding off the runway,we would have already gotten the 'Winter weather, y'all be careful' speech.
