Just heard today from a crew that new hires are being placed in the jet with around 1100 TT is this true?

it all depends on need. when there are no transitions from the EMB, they have hired into the jet regardless of TT.

after the HUGE bid award they just did, it seems everyone on the EMB who wants to transition to the jet was awarded it, provided they aren't in their first year seat lock.

so, it seems that RJ classes for the next few months have been filled by transitioning pilots, and newhires should expect the Bro.

of course, I could be wrong
