Does anybody know if Skywest hires people into the CRJs? If they do, what are the requirements or what are the chances to get the CRJ.

thanks in advance.

Newhires go into a CRJ groundschool as the need arises. 30 slot EMB classes will run once a month this year with a few smaller jet newhire FO classes in addition.

I don't think there is any difference in mins required for the jet although the latest I heard to be competitive for ANY slot is 2500 and some turbine time, since the need has arisen to hire pilots that can upgrade soon to captain, and those pilots need 2500 TT and 1000 multi turbine crew.

I don't know how long those high reqs will last as I can't imagine there are that many out there willing to start again at the bottom of the senority list.
