Ok, I'm just trying to plan accordingly...I have a CRJ 9/10 class date (hopefully it won't be MKE, ORD isn't much better...but still it is better). I wouldn't mind FAT,SMF or something in CA if I can't get SLC or DEN right away. Hoping I won't have to commute further east than Denver. We'll see, though my SSN isn't going to do me any favors...to bad it's not done by age...lol. Any other advice would be appreciated...thanks!

because skywest, eagle, expressjet, mesa etc are in the national category and have over $1bln in revenue.

do you whine to airlinepilotcentral.com as they classify skywest, eagle, expressjet, mesa, etc as Nationals?

this is the LCC/Nationals area.

And roadkill is the "other" white meat. Knock yourself out jr.

And I'll try to remember that the next time I'm slowed down to .75 to keep from eating that 50-seat POS's rearend.

They may fit the revenue category, they may fly greater distances (I pity the fool stuck in an RJ cabin for 1,000+ miles), but they're still regionals. Get over it.

I also don't like being slowed down for an RJ in front of me. However, most of us came from flying at the regionals. It seems that some people are forgetting where they came from, and in my book, that's much worse than having to slow to .74.

Getting the job flying for a major doesn't make you better, it just makes you older.

And how does thinking this thread belongs in another category make me better? It doesn't. It's simply an opinion. Quite frankly, if I wanted information on Skywest, ExpressJet, etc. I would go to the regionals forum. It's no different than going to weather.com when I want a wx forecast...I don't go to an auto-parts website to get it.

BTW, I flew much slower and lower at my former regional jobs...props rule, dude.

careful, there are a lot of md80's that slow the regional birds down out there. we would complain about all jets in the 1900. perspective. it sounds like you are insecure and must be a thread cop.

personally, skywest should be gone from mke, but that's my opinion and it matters not.
