Well right now its 13 months!! it's going around 1940 out of 2740. 25-30 upgrades in class every 3 weeks. If you have the time I would say 1.5-2 years, if you were hired today.

I did...but just wondering if there are good rumors of it going below 13 months....

I was actually stunned to see it that low...I had expected it to start climbing in the near future as more of the CFI's start reaching the 1000 turbine mark. My guess is that it will be at two years by early 2008. Major hiring might keep it lower, maybe.

If you are hired today I would plan on three years, unless more growth comes our way.

I dont think they would let it drop below 1 year for the RJ. They would just run short each class. They are doing that for the Bro they want 500hrs Skywest time.

I stand corrected. it is posted now, july 10 06 hire date just got ord crj captain. holy crap. upgrade is under a year now.

Weasil, I think that would actually make it a 13 month upgrade rather than under a year upgrade. If they were hired July 06' and they will be in the August 07' class, then it would be 13 months. Not to split hairs, I just didn't know how you calculated that it was less than one year. Thanks

You are splitting hairs, but I was reffering to the fact that the guy was hired in July 06 and awarded upgrade in june 07. I'm not sure when the class is, as far as I know these awards are for the july upgrade class.

Sounds good, just wanted to clarify how you figured it out. Thanks
