Am hearing now that since the pilots at Skywest voted down the last contract to fly the 90 seater RJ for 50/70 pay, management has found a way to circumvent that. They're going to get the 90 seaters with 70 seats and over a period of time gradually put more seats in them. And the next thing you know, they'll be flying them with 90 seats for 50/70 seat pay. The pilot group won't even know what happened. Sounds very slick to me. Is this feasable?

Well, until the change in scope clause, talking about Skywest 90s seaters isnt something to worry about right now...

Well, unfortunately the agreement is to fly any CRJ(less than 100 seats) for the same rate, so there's not need to "pull one over."

Another conspiracy theory down the drain.

The real deal here is that DL has asked SKW to get these airplanes without having settled the scope issue with their pilots.

I guess the other 20 seats in back wouldn't be a tip-off.
