Actually, if you consider that a similar A/C with turboprop engines instead of jets paid about $20 bucks less per hour, they have actually increased the base rate at the regional. If it were not for the mainline MEC's voting in rates for 100 seat A/C that are below most regional 70/76 seat rates, perhaps the rates could be higher. Oh, yeah you were just trying to "get them on the property", whatever, you guys sold because you were to good to fly them, now you sell out the regional pilots because your to good to get fourloughed.They both suck because they BOTH brought down the wages in our industry!
