Picking up open time for time and a half only counts as time and a half if it's within 240 hrs right? (10 days) Otherwise, it's just straight time right?

Correct. Trips will drop from the open time board when they hit 240 hours, so you have to call crew sched. to pick up open time at JR man pay.
