Clarification:

No per diem during initial training. Later on, if you are not based in SLC, you'll get per diem for training in SLC.

Additionally, you start earning regular guarantee (75/mo) after the CHECKRIDE, not at the beginning of IOE. This is an important distinction right now because there is a 3-5 week wait for IOE...so you're earning regular guarantee while watching Gilligan's Island from the comfort of your own couch.

or maybe he is not a square with the standard blonde hair and blue eyed look that they always seem to go for! Hmmmm Hmmmmm Hmmmmm!

ooh! $1500 monthly paychecks! I can't wait to get started!!

Then don't a-hole. If you are coming here with a sh!tty attitude, save and work some place else.

You know what you're getting into.

I am not comming there with a bad attitude. Attitude is everything! If life hands you lemons, then make lemon soup! People with bad attitudes should not even be hired!I have a very positive attitude actually and am very excited to begin training. by the way, are you allowed to nonrev around during the 3-5 weeks off that someone said in a previous post prior to beginning IOE. Also, is it true that you pay per segment when you nonrev? thanks for the info! Relax Haas! no hard feelings "CFIT"

Double occupancy, that sucks.. Oh wait, Mesa didn't give me crap for a hotel!
60 hour guarantee during training? Well, (see #1) I'll take the extra 1200 bucks for the hotel, plus uniform, plus leather Jepps instead of the glorious mesa 3 ring Destroyer Class Jepp Shredders!

DO they really fly you home each weekend?

No, they do not fly you home every weekend. I went home every two-three weeks. Our travel coordinator is a sweet lady, and if you're nice and polite she has a magical way of making traveling home easy. ;) Amazing what some manners gets you these days.

what a $hitty airline
scumb of the industry

I love these kinds of posts!! So who do you fly for? Show us the errors of our ways! PLEASE, AIRTIME! I need to be saved from the HORRIBLE Skywest!!!

Man, this guy has been doggin' Skywest every single post for almost the past two years! Did it hurt you that much getting rejected after the interview?

Total flamebait, but fun nonetheless!!

Double occupancy is a heck of a lot better than TSA where they just pay you guarantee and you're on your own for the hotel.

Did you change your mind?

From another SKYW thread...

Have fun sharing a room! you should have held out for an company that thinks more of you!!!!!!~!! they know how much you spent to get to this point but don't care enough to pay you at least minimum wage throughout training? BGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's flaming! Every one of his posts seemed to be designed to get some type of reaction. Luckily, he's not very good at it, since most of his assertsions were wrong.
