Anyone been to one of these things recently? Is it the full interview minus the sim? Do they administer the tests? Any info would be helpful.

Depends on the number of attendees...it could be the full deal minus the sim, or it could be some subset of the interview events. Expect to take the writtens at least, but be prepared for the full interview (except sim).

So, can you actually get hired at one of these events, or is it just a pre-screen for the intervew in SLC? In other words, if you go to one of these events, must you still interview in SLC and fly the sim?

Thanks

You will need to go to SLC and finish the sim and any other interview events that did not get done at the open house.

You can get invited directly to SLC if you know someone to walk your stuff in (or have 121 time), but the open house is great cuz you can just show up and start the interview process!
