May I be the first to welcome the EMB newhires to a life of crap pay, crap schedules, crap benefits and crap morale. But the company propaganda is a cut above. Enjoy.

Are u quoting the original announcement that 36 UAL furloughees will get a chance to work at SKW or do you have info that 36 UAL furloughees have accepted the offer and have taken the 36 slots? From the thread on APC it sounded like only 20 UAL furloughees have acceptd the offer, so just wondering if u have any new info.

The last "rumor" I heard was all 40 are United furloughs.

I know someone who is in the 9/27 class who is not from UAL. He was told by Camille there are 4 internal SKW people in that class, the rest being UAL. I have no idea who has been offered what, or how many may have accepted or rejected offers.

I think thats it for United guys... Next classes will go to poolies/new interviews.. My guess is they will wait tell after the holidays...

There is presently a class of 8 going on right now. All 8 of them are UAL furloughees training in the Bro.

The class starts next week and has 20, at least that's what I thought. As of right now there are 10 ex SkyWest ual furloughs on the training seniority list.

So if one was hired onto the bro how long could it take to transition to the jet? Would it help if the new hire had multi crew jet time to go straight onto the rj, considering there were vacancies for new hires?

Right now everyone is going to the EMB.. There letting those FO's get off the Bro and into the RJ.. Not much going on tell after the first if the year.. I think about 10 newhires will make it into the next EMB class... Then a long holiday break..
