Just wanted to see if I have this straight. 1000 100 and 800 100 if it's walked in.... does that sound about right?

I just sent an email to Camielle asking what they're looking for. They WANT 2500TT/1000 turbine due to short upgrade times in the EMB but obviously they aren't getting that. I think you'd get an interview with 800/100 if it was walked it.

I had a buddy of mine ask about the 800/100 if it's walked in and she said nope, still have to have 1000/100

My understanding is the 800 is a deal they have with ALLATPS as long as you have instructed there also.

I was told directly by the SLC chief pilot that 1000/100 is a hard minimum for insurance reasons. I was a ramper at SkyWest for 2 years and they wouldn't budge a bit. Sounds like a rumor.

Hey maybe if I go get myself a RJ type from those RJ training schools it'll get dropped to 500 and 100.

If you read the fine print it says "interview at 850tt" not a job. Rumor has it, in the past they've interviewed internal applicants at less than the minimums on condition that they couldn't start class until they had the 1000tt. Anybody considering this program should get it in writing that you can get the job at 850tt.

If you are from ERAU all you need is a pvt to get an interview..

Notice how it says you have to be an ATP instructor in order to interview at 850 hours. When I left the company for a regional, 80% of my time was multi dual given. The average applicant getting hired at Skywest through this deal has at least 850/600.
