300-600 is what I'm hearing too.

I'm also hearing there will be no furloughs.

I'm also hearing there will be hiring.

What do we believe?

I believe in the powers of
KOOL-AID!

Lets see 10,000 hours. 5,000 PIC. Nailed the technical and the sim evaluation... You should here from us in a week as soon as we have a chance to look over your essay.

You laugh, but part of the application process at ACA (Atlantic Coast Airlines, later Independance Air) was on interview day to write a one page essay on what makes a good captain or what makes a good fo (topic assigned that day). You did this during the 45-50 mins that you were given to complete your "ATP-style" written that you also took that day.

And even if it wasn't stated...if you don't think spelling and penmanship were important, then you were in LA-LA land.

(1st impressions are a terrible thing to change.)

It's kind of ironic how those with bad grammar ended up being the lucky ones, huh?

You didn't tell them who got to grade the essays!

Was this test right before they asked how much you were willing to pay to have the good fortune to fly either the J32 or J41? Sorry, that whole pay for training thing still kills me.;)
