It's a flight follower position. This position usually pays $9 - $12/hr at most airlines. The only thing they can't do is actually dispatch.

Nope. Not a flight follower job. In fact, its a position, that those with dispatch certificates, get an override above the dispatch payscale. Most recently it was referred to as a coordinator.
