I presume you are going to give your notice at ERAU no earlier than 20 Nov. That would be a good idea. Sometimes class schedules change.

Please call me Andy.

I think there are some changes in both the Nov 20th classes and the Dec 4th classes. I imagine calls are being made as I type.

As Jeepman said, due to the strong response from Brasilia FO's to go to the jet for the PSP, DEN, and SBA domiciles, the newhires originally scheduled to start Nov 20th for the CRJ will be delayed. The Dec 4th class date has been adjusted for the holidays (undoubtedly to reduce the stress on jmac77).

jmac77 said earlier today:
I'm excited as can be for this class, but the timing for the holidays could not be more inconvenient

I would share milk and cookies with Santa Claus to be in that ground school. Take the class date Jmac, and don't look back. Congrats on the job though.

Jmac77-

Well, I don't know what the interviewers over at Skywest were thinking when they brought you on board, I guess you musta pulled the wool over their eyes, but I think you should look up the words "professional" and "attitude". Give them some serious consideration. Since you're headed West, at least I won't have to pull a 3 day with you.

Oh come on, give the guy a break. One thing I have learned in this industry is that when it comes to priorities, family is #1, job is #2. My wife has never furloughed me, doesn't junior-man me, and thinks of me as more than a number. If that makes Jmac or myself unprofessional, then fine, I'm unprofessional. I'm happy as anything to have a good flying job with a good airline, and I love this career, but I never forget the fact that it is just that, a job.
